A fun explainer I animated for the boutique design agency PXL LABS, and their client StakeUp.
StakeUp's branding guidelines and storyboards were masterfully translated into styleframes faithful to the brand by the illustrator Julia Maystruk, and then I came on board for the animation.
I used morphings and transitions to give it a sense of snappy flow, fitting of the innovative Web 3.0 company and bringing it all to life.
Storyboard
Julia translated the brief and script into a compelling myriad of clever visual metaphors and balanced compositions that flow seamlessly from one screen to the next.
Styleframes
Then she used the characteristic brand style and colors to design styleframes and illustrations ready for animation, with the final look of the video.
It was then my job to take Julia's beautiful illustrations and bring them to life with a unique style of animation for this particular piece, in which everything morphs and flows together like a seamless, uninterrupted story.
